Lesson Type: Functional Language

Level: Beginner (A1)

Lesson length: 60 - 90 minutes

Summary: This lesson expands on the “Everyday Objects” lesson (it is recommended that students complete that lesson before doing this one). Students will first review the “common objects” vocabulary they learned previously and will then build on this by learning to ask for more information - specifically, about the color and the price (i.e. “How much is the blue laptop?” “It’s $900.”) This is an interactive lesson that includes several information gap activities students can play in pairs to maximize speaking practice and engagement.
