How advanced is the grammar in this course? How much should I already know?
This course covers all the verb tenses, plus the other most common points that ESL teachers need to know. If you're starting from zero (meaning you're not even sure about nouns and verbs), we've got you covered! The introduction unit contains a thorough, easy review of the basics to get you up (painlessly) up to speed.
How long is the course?
That's basically up to you! The course is 16 units (plus the introduction module) and you're free to work through it as quickly or gradually as you'd like. It's designed to fit around your schedule.
Does the course expire? Is there a limit on how long I have access to the course/ material?
Nope! When you enroll in Be Your Own Grammar Guru, you get lifetime access. And if I ever change something or add new material, you'll get automatic access to those updates, too.

Shannon here. I created Be Your Own Grammar Guru with my fellow teacher trainer and good friend, Lauren Harrington.
We may be grammar gurus now, but when we first started out as brand new teachers many years ago, it was a different story.
